With photography contributions from Bas Princen, Stefano Graziani and Giovanna Silva, the volumes include essays by Thomas Weaver and Seng Kuan, and an interview with Rita McBride. All three volumes have been designed by Joris Kritis and published by Verlag Der Buchhandlung Walther und Franz König. Together, these new volumes offer a comprehensive overview of OFFICE's evolving body of work, documenting both the continuity and transformation of the practice through a selection of projects realised over recent years. Combining architectural documentation, critical essays and conversations, the publication provides an opportunity to reflect on the ideas, references and methodologies that have shaped OFFICE's approach to architecture and urbanism. On Wednesday 24 June, Amaryllis Jacobs and Christophe Van Gerrewey together with Kersten Geers, David Van Severen and Jelena Pancevac gathered in our exhibition space et al. for a conversation around the three newly published volumes. The discussion explored the making of the catalogue and the broader trajectory of OFFICE's work, offering insights into the projects and ideas presented throughout the books. The discussion was followed by a book signing session. |
