We lanceren een internationale oproep voor een residentie voor architecten! De residentie, die start in oktober 2026, duurt vijf maanden en wordt afgesloten met een tentoonstelling in onze ruimte 

Voor deze editie kondigen we met veel plezier aan dat de architecten en kunstenaars Sophie Nys en Djamel Klouche deel uitmaken van de externe jury voor de selectie van de architect(en) die zullen deelnemen aan de komende Residentie #006.

Call for Residency #006

We were very pleased to host the launch of the first publication dedicated to the work of Maxime Delvaux on Thursday, 29 June 2023, at 6 PM. This publication, produced in collaboration with Accattone, was presented in our exhibition space 

, located in the Marolles district of Brussels.

In this publication, architectural photographer Maxime Delvaux presents, for the first time, images created independently, without any commission. To achieve this, he followed a solitary path, visiting buildings and sites spanning a wide historical range and resonating with his personal fascinations. These five photographic series, devoted to a particular building, site, or architect, are accompanied by various types of texts written by authors from diverse backgrounds. Together, they create a new narrative inviting the reader to forge connections between images and texts. Like Maxime Delvaux’s photographic approach, these texts and their relationship with the photographs are specific to each subject, illustrating five ways of showing and telling stories about places near and far.

On this occasion, a selection of numbered prints was put on sale, and 

 was also open on Friday, 30 June, and Saturday, 1 July, from 11 AM to 6 PM.

Nous sommes très heureux d’avoir accueilli le lancement de la première publication consacrée au travail de Maxime Delvaux, le jeudi 29 juin 2023 à 18 h. Cette publication, réalisée en collaboration avec Accattone, a été présentée dans notre espace d’exposition 

Dans cette publication, le photographe d’architecture Maxime Delvaux présente, pour la première fois, des images réalisées de manière indépendante, sans aucune commande. Pour ce faire, il a suivi une trajectoire solitaire, visitant des bâtiments et des sites couvrant une large période historique et résonnant avec ses fascinations personnelles. Ces cinq séries photographiques, consacrées à un bâtiment, un site ou un architecte particulier, sont accompagnées de différents types de textes rédigés par des auteurs issus de divers horizons. Ensemble, ils créent une nouvelle narration invitant le lecteur à établir des liens entre images et textes. À l’instar de l’approche photographique de Maxime Delvaux, ces textes et leur articulation avec les photographies sont spécifiques à chaque sujet, illustrant cinq manières de montrer et de raconter des lieux proches et lointains.

À cette occasion, une sélection de tirages numérotés a été mise en vente, et 

 a également été ouvert le vendredi 30 juin et le samedi 1er juillet de 11 h à 18 h.

Wij waren zeer verheugd de lancering van de eerste publicatie gewijd aan het werk van Maxime Delvaux te mogen verwelkomen op donderdag 29 juni 2023 om 18.00 uur. Deze publicatie, gerealiseerd in samenwerking met Accattone, werd gepresenteerd in onze tentoonstellingsruimte 

In deze publicatie presenteert architectuurfotograaf Maxime Delvaux, voor het eerst, beelden die onafhankelijk van enige opdracht zijn gemaakt. Hiervoor volgde hij een solistisch traject, waarbij hij gebouwen en locaties bezocht die een brede historische spreiding beslaan en resoneren met zijn persoonlijke fascinaties. Deze vijf fotografische series, gewijd aan een specifiek gebouw, locatie of architect, worden vergezeld van verschillende soorten teksten geschreven door auteurs uit diverse achtergronden. Samen creëren ze een nieuwe narratief die de lezer uitnodigt verbanden te leggen tussen beelden en teksten. Net als de fotografische aanpak van Maxime Delvaux zijn deze teksten en hun koppeling aan de foto’s specifiek voor elk onderwerp en illustreren ze vijf manieren om plaatsen dichtbij en ver weg te tonen en te verbeelden.

Bij deze gelegenheid werd een selectie van genummerde afdrukken te koop aangeboden, en 

 was ook geopend op vrijdag 30 juni en zaterdag 1 juli van 11.00 tot 18.00 uur.
