Concentrico x Horst Festival
Since 2015, Concéntrico has turned the city of Logroño into a vibrant urban lab, inviting architects and designers to rethink public space through over 150 interventions.
In parallel in Belgium, HORST has transformed ASIAT, a former military site near Brussels, into a testing ground for architecture, music, and community-based city-making.
On Wednesday 22 October at 7PM, we welcome Javier Peña Ibáñez, director of Concéntrico, and Mattias Staelens from Belgian collective Onkruid, for a presentation of both festivals. The presentations will be followed by a discussion moderated by Radim Louda from Architecture Curating Practice.

Since 2015, Concéntrico has transformed the city of Logroño into a vibrant urban innovation laboratory, bringing together architects, designers, and artists from around the world to explore new ways of activating public space. With more than 150 interventions over ten editions, the festival has created a platform for experimentation, dialogue, and collective experience in the contemporary city.
In parallel in Belgium, Horst Arts & Music has been developing a unique trajectory at the intersection of architecture, music, and visual arts. Since its founding in 2014, and especially after relocating to the former military site of ASIAT in Vilvoorde in 2019, Horst has been reimagining how cultural programming can regenerate urban space. Through experimental stage architecture, site-specific installations, and immersive electronic music experiences, Horst activates spaces in transition and fosters bottom-up city-making. The festival serves as both a cultural event and a catalyst for long-term urban and artistic development.
On Wednesday 22 October at 7:00 PM, we are pleased to welcome Javier Peña Ibáñez, director of Concéntrico, as well as Mattias Staelens from the Belgian collective Onkruid for a presentation of both festivals in our exhibition space et al. The presentations will be followed by a conversation moderated by Radim Louda fouders of both CENTRAL ofaau and Architecture Curating Practice.
